One of the dishes Singapore is known for is the Chicken Curry and up till today it still is, with close to 90% of respondents who picked chicken as their preferred meat.
This shows that Singaporeans prefer authenticity and meat is not easily substituted.
Singapore being multi-racial, pork takes second-last place with the Muslim community forbidden from consumption of pork.
Beef also garnered a low percentage given the presence of Buddhist community in Singapore.
